Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay By Ihg

Marvellous location between city center, easy to get around. Adjacent to Cardiff, and bay.

Everything is great, reasonable value, surprising hotel overall. It has favourable, beautiful setting, near the Quayside and the large array of bars and restaurants, restaurants and the bay, and Cardiff Bay railway station. There's Chicken House offering takeout relatively close to the venue. The breakfast with options for all and also a toaster is excellent for what is offered.

The room was newly decorated and soundproof with safe for my safety. The location was favourable - an easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go.

It was very lovely time in Cardiff. This property was perfectly clean and wonderful relaxing. The staff served scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. The breakfast was hot, the check in was easy. Besides, the parking was onsite.

It was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Staff were super lovely and helped us whenever we asked. The location is also great, close to cardiff bay and city center which was really handy.

The bed wasn't great, you kinda roll to the middle when you sleep. The car park was a bit pricey for my liking.

Was in a good location for the Bay and Millenium Centre (main reason for booking here). Also close to city centre.

The breakfast room wasn't really big enough for size of hotel. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles with no clean plates/cutlery etc and nobody clearing tables.

Situation of hotel was good room was comfortable and had good shower and tea/coffee making facilities

cost of wi-fi too expensive most hotels are free cooked part of breakfast rather boring scrambled eggs,sausages and baked beans every day

great access to parks and popular attractions for city walking

I had an amazing stay with a lovely breakfast included, and it was great being just over a kilometer from Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay, perfect for an afternoon stroll by the water.

We had a really good overnight stay. Loved the waterfront location, with easy birdwatching. Could walk to the pub for evening meal. Nice to have a lounge/bar in the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Exceptionably helpful staff.

if we were to be really picky, an automatic door at the entrance would be good, for easier access with suitcases.

I was happy with the location, near the Bay.

The elevator was broke we where on the top floor, the tv was batterd n the remote had celotape wrapped around it to hold batteries in, the shower was a mixture of scorching hot or freezing cold and it would just change randomly between the two regardless of what temperature you set it to

Good location - if you have a car. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff

Bit of a cheek to charge £5 per day for parking - you would not stay there if you had no car as the hotel is rather more than comfortable walking distance to City sites and attractions, although Cardiff Bay nearer and accessible on foot depending on one's capabilities. More honest perhaps to make room rates inclusive of parking, and deduct/refund £5 per day if guest has no car.

Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. A safe quiet location at night.
